Eligibility

Eligibility for the 2025 Indie Impact Awards competition requires that paid advertising was displayed on an out of home advertising location during the 2024 calendar year (January 1 through December 31).
The advertiser (or its agency) must have paid for unit space directly to an out of home media company owning or operating the advertising assets, the only exception to this rule is public service advertisements.
The advertisement must have been created by:
An in-house creative team at an independent media company.
An outside designer or agency on behalf of an independent media company.
Advertisements created by a designer or agency directly for the advertiser are not eligible.
IBO reserves the right to disqualify any entries deemed non-compliant with eligibility guidelines.
Please check your entry for accuracy before submitting. Entries can not be edited after submission.
Entries must be actual photos, videos, or mockups on structures. No flat design files will be accepted.
Deadlines
no ifs. Ands. or buts. maybe.
Entries must be submitted by Dec. 31, 2024. Deadline has been extended to January 17, 2025.
Judging
folks that “get” the independent out of home game.
Entries will be judged by industry experts selected by IBO representing creatives, clients, and media owners.
Judging takes place between February and March after entries are closed.
Winning
stand out and be recognized.
Categories for the Indie Impact Awards are fluid and may change from year to year. Judges choose categories based on submissions.
Winners will be announced at the Spring IBO Conference after judging is complete.
